1. Arrival and Registration of foreign students

(1). Language students：

① the fully completed application form；

② Copy of passport or scanned copy (Personal information page and entry stamp page)

(2). Degree students：

① the fully completed application form；

② Copy of passport or scanned copy (Personal information page and entry stamp page)；

③ Copy of academic certificate;；

④ Transcript of academic records

⑤ HSK Academic Certificate (non applicable if not taking the HSK test)

⑥ Two Reference Letters

⑦ Study plan

2. Ways of submission

Submit the electronic version of application form online and the scanned copy of application documents.

3. Auditing and Admission

The application documents submitted will be audited and admitted by the Academy, and an admission letter will be mailed out to the admitted applicants afterwards.

4. Visa Procedures

The admitted students outside can apply for travel (L), students (X) ,(F) or visit visa to the university. For those in need of help concerning the Visa issues, please contact the Admissions Office of SIE of Kunming University of Science and Technology.

5. Upon the registration and enrollment, bring the <admission letter> to the Admissions Office of SIE of Kunming University of Science and Technology on time, and complete the payment of the application and tuition fee. Enrolment as a student at any other time is possible in exceptional cases and with permission of the university prior to the enrollment date as scheduled.

6. Admission

International students with application of professionals are to be enrolled as of early September of the year, advanced Chinese-language students are to be enrolled in March of the semester of spring. It is possible to start the Chinese learning program in the middle of the semester, with the requirement of the application of one-on-one or one-on-two pre-teaching during the period of summer or winter vacation.
